From the Ashes: America Reborn by William W. Johnstone

He goes deep into the conflicting forces pulling him in different directions, the pain of knowing how he was letting down his grandmother, the terrifying sickness of addiction, and his own uncertainty about how to break the cycle.

It will make you think about the homeless person you pass downtown, and create empathy for those struggling with addiction. With this you can organize how your town is going. I wish it was more elaborate and how he overcame everything instead of his past which was important but a lot of the time I found myself thinking of the ending -the recovery- instead of the current events. This time I didn't release and made sure the lock that ganked me took down the elemental.

From the ashes earned a spot on my 2020 Favourites List.

Sermon Series Kit

It is an extraordinary, remarkable and inspiring story of survival, an inspiration to others, and a lesson in empathy. He paints an achingly sad and honest picture of a young man lost and self-destructive, compelled by abandonment, abuse and addiction.

His relationship with his grandparents moved me to tears. It will make you think about the homeless person you pass downtown, and create empathy for those struggling with addiction. look From the ashes a big lump of dirt if theres a forest like some grass and brown trees someone has already planted the seeds and ur gonna have to wait a couple minutes.

It is hard to fathom Jesse's history, struggles and his bravery.
